Haskap Berry Smoothie Recipe


What is more refreshing than a cold, delicious smoothie? Especially with the beautiful, hot weather we are seeing in the Maritimes this summer! Our fruit smoothie uses Haskap berries to give it that beautiful, bright purple colour. We love Haskap smoothies as a healthy breakfast, take on-the-go, or an afternoon pick me up. 

The Haskap Association of Canada highlights the health benefits of Haskap berries such as Phenols, Anthocyanins and Bioflavonoids - not to mention more antioxidants than cranberries, blueberries, and strawberries!

Our Haskap Berries are grown right here on Prince Edward Island. You can buy your Haskap Berries in-store or online with VanKampens!

Haskap Berry Smoothie Recipe

1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 banana
1/4 cup Haskap berries
1 scoop of your favourite vanilla protein powder (optional)
Handful of ice cubes

Add together, blend and enjoy!
